Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" the American as the pair met personally to promote the upcoming boxing match.
Former two time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge mismatch - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to break his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will seriously aim to injure him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
In spite of these statements, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually known for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather targeted former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
However, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's largest money-making draws, frequently receiving massive paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul participated in the traditional confrontation, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it drove home just how improbable this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the fight is really proceeding.
